The Evolution of Mara Dyer - Michelle Hodkin huh....my head hurts.I can't seem to figure out if Mara is crazy or not and the flashbacks really didn't help my conclusion on that either. This was a great follow up to The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. It had even more mystery and added many more questions that I hope will be answered in the final book of this trilogy. I couldn't quite figure out how Jude was getting around and Noah has this great knack of being able to get into places that you wouldn't think he could. Again once I picked up this book I was so riveted I couldn't put it down until I finished it. The relationship of Mara and Noah was so innocent in places and super hot in others. I was so disappointing every time things heated up Mara would black out or hallucinate but that kept it PG-13. I loved the dynamic of Mara's family and how much her brother Daniel was more of a friend than brother. Jamie is back to for some witty banter and some levity. The ending was wtf, the events at the end were surprising I'm still trying to wrap my mind around what happened. There are so many twists, turns, about faces, clues and genuine heartfelt moments that I was on a roller coaster the whole way through. I anxiously await book 3 and I hope that all the holes can be filled in. I also will look for the reemergence of certain characters that I'm not willing to write off yet but only time will tell.
